Come To Me With An Empty Cup

When we meet people in life, we should meet them with an empty cup.  To have an empty cup means you are open to listen and learn from others no matter how better educated you are or what position you have in life.  Everyone comes with knowledge from his or her experiences.  When we approach others with an empty cup we are listening and willing to learn.  If you’re a know-it-all, your cup will be full and you are no longer learning from everyone you can.  – Father Dick McGuire
